I will play a short program of Parisian organ music as a prelude to the subsequent liturgy of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Works include a Magnificat by Jean-François Dandrieu, the Fantaisie-Improvisation on Ave Maris Stella by Charles Tournemire (transcribed by Maurice Duruflé), and selections from the Magnificat section of Marcel Dupré’s 15 Antiphons, Op. 18 (Vêpres du commun des fêtes de la Sainte Vierge).
