Explore the rich and interconnected traditions that shaped American sacred music at "Revival: How America Found Its Voice" a free concert on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 1pm at Marble Collegiate Church, 1 W. 29th St., in New York City.

From the communal sounds of early shape-note singing and African American spirituals, including the groundbreaking work of the Fisk Jubilee Singers, to the birth and flourishing of gospel, "Revival" traces a musical story of faith, community, resilience and transformation.

Featuring singers and musicians from Marble, alongside The Marble Choir, the Marble Community Gospel Choir, and Festival of Voices, the program brings these traditions to life through performance, storytelling and communal song, celebrating the many voices that helped define the sound of American music.

Organ soloist for the world premiere of Peter Drew’s Kaleidoscope: Double Concerto for Piano and Organ at Alice Tully Hall with Ben Sellick, conductor.

Stepping out from behind the choir stalls, St. Bartholomew's professional choir presents an evening of beloved concert repertoire: Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms, Francis Poulenc's Gloria, and music of Samuel Barber. The choir is joined by organist Michael Hey, pianist Patrick Kreeger, harpist Frances Duffy and percussionist Maya Gunji, under the direction of Paolo Bordignon.

Director of Music Michael T. C. Hey invites you to celebrate the spirit of Christmas through music! Join us for an afternoon of storytelling and song featuring narrator Simon Jones, The Marble Choir, the Marble Festival Choir, and the Marble Community Gospel Choir, with guest organist Alan Montgomery.

The Christmas music this season, including the Concert, is given by Lynda Packard in honor of her parents Lynn and John Packard, and in loving support of the Jamaican peoples as they rebuild their lives post hurricane Melissa.

Pianist, composer and genre-defying creator Nahre Sol will perform a live solo concert, Meditations and Lullabies, in the historic Marble Collegiate Church Sanctuary in New York City. Michael T. C. Hey, Marble’s Director of Music, will join her for select moments during what is certain to be a memorable, music-filled evening.

This is the closing concert of the 19-hour 2025 Bach-a-thon featuring the complete organ works of J.S. Bach.
